The Rat King Hungers

Tern fires the 57 mm high explosive round directly into the Rat King.

The explosive crashes directly into his body and explodes thunderously. The Rat King's body bursts into numerous meaty chunks and fine green mist. A little while after the explosion the fleshy globs quiver a bit yet none of the pieces grow and slowly the vibrating meat begins to settle and ceases any activity.

"Jesus christ what an ordeal." Tern wipes his brow, beholding the disgusting chunks of flesh that was once a Rat King. "Well, time to get paid I guess." Tern put on his signature smile (and hat) gathered his coat after brushing off the now harmless bits of skin and flesh, and walked towards the council building, where his employer, Abdul Hasan, was waiting.
